I disappeared from my blog for a while, working on both a new teen/YA horror manuscript (news to come about that), and…big announcement… I’m working with The Ed Greenwood Group! I have been one happy writer. Every night I fall asleep swimming in oodles and oodles of imaginative pools as my brain drifts through my projects with the Ed Greenwood Sessorium.
Best known as the creator of the “Forgotten Realms” fantasy worlds, Ed Greenwood is re-inventing collaborative world building with the Ed Greenwood Group. TEGG Sessorium creatives include authors, gamers, artists, voice actors, game-makers, editors, and more! With fifteen shared world settings, this will be the next level of entertainment.
I can’t tell you the details of my submissions to TEGG yet, but I can tell you about the worlds wherein my some of my stories take place.
#youarethefood – Hellmaw
Hellmaw takes place on current day Earth. Look out your window. See people? Maybe they are truly daemons in disguise. Daemons from Araunt have lived among humans for centuries. They are demon-like in appearance, wield incredible power and look upon us like food. A recent dynastic struggle on the Araunt Throneworld flooded Earth with Exiles from Araunt, some of whom brought their political aspirations through the portals between the worlds. Some daemons set themselves up as crime bosses, some hide “cattleback” as humans, and a rare few want you to know they exist… and be afraid.

#BewaretheMists – Stormtalons
Formerly under the code name Pony Island Adventures, #thesearetherealms you’re looking for! A world of mists and shadows, Stormtalons is medieval-style fantasty world of sentient mists, magic, and awesome beasts. Heroes seek adventure, thieves plunder treasure, and wanders risk their souls in the shapeless Stormtalons mists. Priests of the Six, and magic-wielding wizards battle for supremacy. Monsters and all manner of races live here, and there are whispers of an older power beginning to surface.
The release schedule is coming, starting with Ed Greenwood’s novel, Between My Usual Murders.
Launching June 2018, the Winterknight Towers world setting is focuses on ghosts. Stately homes, old ruins, and locations long forgotten, these (and more) are portals through which ghosts travel to visit far flung places, lost loves, or to commit a murder or two. Living people become entangled in the complex lives of powerful ghosts, sometimes to their own peril! “In the world of Winterknight Towers, the crossroads of Life and Death is a busy intersection where love, laughter, and murder collide.”
