7-7-7 Challenge: The Queen’s Viper

7-7-7 Challenge: The Queen’s Viper

Madhuri Baylock previously invited me to do a 7-7-7 challenge on my work in progress. Author Lilo Abernathy recently put forward the same challenge.

The manuscript is still The Queen’s Viper; the content you’re about to read, different.

7-7-7 challenge:
Seventh page,
Seventh paragraph,
Seven lines.

Which is cool, because I have female warriors called The Seven appearing in this excerpt for my 7-7-7 challenge.

The Queen’s Viper Excerpt:

Kaelra moved deeper into the woods and Odran followed. She didn’t want to risk being seen by her father, the immortal most reluctant to leave Erta. Her heartbeat set her rapid pace.

Odran took her arm and turned her to face him. “Kaelra, you have time to change your mind. Until the humaines put the binding tree into the moon door, you can still go home and take your place among The Seven.”

“To what end?”

I hereby nominate/challenge these seven awesome authors whom I hope to have more interactions with in the future:

Ellie di Julio

Charlene Challenger

Raven M. Ridley

Kasper Beaumont

Catherine Fitzsimmons

Julie Czerneda

Ada Hoffman
